Jaco youth retreat

On Friday, Jimmy (one of the skaters) and I headed out to Jaco to help set up for a youth retreat. Saturday morning the rest of the crew showed up so we ate breakfast and headed on to the mountain.

Saturday night we worshiped and watched an amazing sunset.

Skate Church La Carpio

What a day! Skate church was amazing, you could really feel the spirit. In the words of Lalo "bullets flying around outside, souls saved inside."

                                              We did a lil skate comp and these cats won.

 

                         Pray for my buddy Luis he messed up his front teeth tonight skating.

DC in Costa Rica

This weekend DC shoes came to Costa Rica on a tour. They did a signing at the local mall and I got to share with them about whats going on here and about Skaters of Christ. God is good!

Sunday night we launched the first Skate Church here in Escazu.

On Saturday the local police hosted a skate comp. We helped out a little with it.

Busy busy week

On Thursday we headed to the beach to pick up some ramps and that as an adventure. We borrowed a pick-up and piled 2 bank ramps and a box in the back and began the 2 hour ride back to San Jose, half way back we ran out of gas, and with much prayer God brought us safely back. From here we headed back to return the truck and hit up the beach. Man, it as such a good day. From there we also hit up Christian Surfers Bible study.

Friday some of the guys came over to do some maintenance, after fixin em up we pulled them out into the road and within an hour all these groms from the neighbor hood started randomly showing up. So much fun.
