Reflecting the glory of God
Oldest Church in Costa Rica

Today we hit up the volcano.

Insane Asylum!!!!! On the road back we hit up this old broken down closed up insane asylum. Had an odd vibe but was a good experience.
Final Pic. Our Father is an amazing artist, to many times we forget to admire His work. This weekend trip really showed me that I need to spend more time to admire the Lords handy work.

The past 2 days

WOW! Dude God is soooo good. I still can't believe all that we've done in the past two days, on monday we helped clean the compound and office. After that I helped some of the umpa lumpa set up some fresh completes and from there we headed to the only indoor skatepark here in Costa Rica.
For some of the kids if was the first time they had ever been to a skatepark, such a blessing to see their faces and they ripped.

Today we did some wood shop stuff with the umpa lumpas and refinished one of the tables. Tonight I was blessed to help lead the Bible study at none of the dudes houses, with the giant help of Lalo.

When I was 12 I learned "I got the Joy in my heart" song in spanish and I was so stoked to teach it to them yesterday and today I taught them an old camp tune "Jesus love is a bubbling over" and it was in english. Im so prod of those dudes.

La Carpio Fundraiser!

On September 2 we had a giant food sale after church to help raise money for Skate La Carpio. It was such a rad experience, we had some of the groms from the ministry helping make pizzas and seeing them getting involved really made it all worth it. And God provided to do more rad stuff here.

Costa Rica!!!

Well its official, i am in Costa Rica! Over the past few months God opened the doors for me to serve here in Costa Rica for a month with a organization called Christ for the City. I arrived yesterday and it was a journey, but all went good and made my connections.

Today we woke up early and headed out to La Carpio (which is a barrio near San Jose) We went to the CFCI compound and opened it up to the locals like they do every Saturday. I was so stoked to see how accepting the groms were of me but we had an amazing time skating for a few hours and eating like real Costa Rican food. It was so rad them trying to talk in english and i in spanish. From there we headed to the church and cooked food for a fundraiser they were doing tomorrow to help raise money for Skate La Carpio which is the name of their skate ministry. It was such a rad time too, there was a dude from NYC there who was making New York pizza so that made it definitely worth it, But the fellowship was even better.
