About

Hi, my name is Nathaniel. I am serving as a missionary in a small city in the south of Germany called Nuremberg with Youth with a Mission.
I have worked in skateboard ministry for almost 10 years and have seen God do amazing things. From evangelism to tours across the country and international outreaches.
Ive been involved in short term skate missions since 2012 and served in Costa Rica for 3 months and short trips in Peru, India and Puerto Rico.

In 2014 God began to put YWAM on my heart and the need for a DTS, part of me wanted to and the other part not so much. I had met YWAMers in different place and they seemed a bit "different" but after prayer and more prayer I knew that God wanted me to do a dts. I began to look for different options and stumbled upon YWAM in South Africa, I though this would be a cool idea and I could surf and skate but God had different plans.
I ended up applying for a mobil dts across 6 East African countries away from my comfort zone of skate ministry.

During this time, God taught me the need of surrender and wrecked me but grew me more then I could imagine. We experienced everything from intense spiritual warfare to seeing so much of Gods glory and beauty.
I began to pray and ask God what his plan was, somewhere in my mind I thought I would move to New Zealand and do ministry in my dream country but God had different plans. God began to put Germany on my heart and didn't stop, I didn't have much desire but after allot of signs I made the step and emailed YWAM in Berlin and told them my vision.

They were on board, on my way home from Africa I stopped in Berlin to visit and see if it was right. The first 2 days were rough, maybe because of culture shock but I didn't want to be there. On the second night I said "God if you want me here you have to make it clear." He did and the next day I met with YWAM and 2 months later moved to Berlin.
I spent almost a year and a half living and working in Berlin pioneering skate ministry. God did allot of really cool things there. I knew that language was something I was struggling with and in November of 2016 moved south to Nuremberg and did an intense language school for 4 months and began skate ministry in Nuremberg.

My goal:

Network.

I want to see a network of christian skateboarders raised across Germany and discipleship happen in each skate community in each city.

Team.

We weren't made to stand alone but in community. My heart is to see a skate team formed, that can travel and do events but also serve the skate community in Germany.

Local.

I want to serve my local skate scene and see a skate church started and see community and discipleship happen.

Prayer Request.

Skate scene in Germany for more open doors.

There is a huge need here and we do need staff to serve, please pray for more people to get involved whether locals or internationals coming and serving.

Wisdom.

Financial support.

If you would like to be a prayer partner I would love to connect with you also if you would like to support financially that would be greatly appreciated, for more information and how you can help please click here.
